Vietnam Trip 2023

The 2023 Youth Expedition Project team has returned from an enriching journey to Vietnam, filled with meaningful experiences and lasting memories. During the trip, the team completed a community garden project, constructing flower beds and planting vegetable seeds, set to be harvested in just five days. A highlight of the journey was meeting Mr. Harry Pham Van Anh, the founder of ECO Vietnam Group, and collaborating with local communities. The team organized an English games carnival at Phong Thanh Secondary School, spreading joy and learning. Additionally, they had the chance to connect with local businesses such as Grandma Lu, a popular banh mi cafe, and Goldeneye Technologies, an innovative tech company. The team also embraced the warmth of the Cau Ke community, teaching English and coding using Quarky, while witnessing the students' enthusiasm for learning. This trip was a valuable opportunity to serve, connect, and make a positive impact on the community, reinforcing the spirit of Outram and our commitment to nurturing compassionate and engaged global citizens.
