Swimming in Outram Secondary School is more than just a sport – it's a journey of personal growth and excellence. We focus on developing not only swimming skills but also character, resilience, and teamwork. Our program caters to swimmers of all levels, from beginners to competitive athletes.
We emphasise proper techniques, water safety, and physical fitness through structured training sessions. Our dedicated coaches guide students in various swimming strokes, breathing techniques, and competitive strategies. We also incorporate land training to enhance overall fitness and strength.
Beyond the pool, we nurture leadership skills by encouraging senior swimmers to mentor juniors. Our CCA aligns with the school's student outcomes by fostering discipline, perseverance, and a growth mindset. We participate in inter-school competitions, giving our swimmers opportunities to challenge themselves and represent Outram with pride.
